HAPPY CANADA DAY
I'm so lucky to live in this gorgeous and laid back country.
A little blurb about me, because I'm feeling sentimental:
I was born and raised in the south of England (a town called Basingstoke in Hampshire) and then moved to Manitoba when I was 14 years old.
I finally became a Canadian Citizen in 2006 and it was one of my most exciting days.
I will always love my roots and part of my heart will stay in England, but this wonderful country is my home and here I'll cherish my days.
Here's a few photos of my big day and being sworn in. My Dad was the year before and my brother the year after, we tried to do it at the same time but our government doesn't roll that way-LOL!!!--like I said, laid back!
So we had three celebrations, one each year, always an excuse for a party.
Wishing all Canadians and Landed Residents, lucky enough to
live in this wonderful country,
a very Happy Canada Day.
